“I feel very fortunate to have found a career that I truly enjoy. Each and every time I step into an exam room I see a woman, not just a patient. This woman may be a mother, a daughter, a friend, a professional, a student, or a retiree. I listen to her needs and concerns so that I have every opportunity to treat her with the knowledge, care and compassion she deserves. I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity I have to care for such a diverse set of individuals during some of life’s most difficult trials and most memorable and cherished events.”
Linda Egan is a board certified Physician Assistant and native Houstonian. A graduate of Bellaire High School, she later received her B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University and spent many years working in business prior to pursuing her passion in healthcare. She went on to receive her Master’s degree at Baylor College of Medicine and has since worked exclusively in obstetrics and gynecology.
As a PA, Linda is licensed to examine, diagnose and treat patients, write prescriptions, confirm pregnancy by ultrasound, order and interpret labs, and provide health counseling including preconception, birth control, weight loss, menopausal management, and STD prevention. She is also trained to insert and remove intrauterine devices (IUD’s) and Nexplanon. Linda routinely sees OB patients in all stages of pregnancy as well as gynecologic visits to include well-woman exams, prenatal and postpartum care, menstrual cycle concerns and infertility. Her goal is to foster lasting relationships with her patients by merging evidence-based medicine with old-fashioned bedside manner.
Linda spends most of her non-working hours with her wonderful husband, three daughters, and elderly beagle. She enjoys taking part in her children’s extracurricular activities, dining out, traveling, and spending time with friends.
Linda sees patients with Dr. Nicole Tran.
